Our brand categories give you a direct route to Formula Sports, Target, Winmau, One80, Harrows, Shot, Designa and Nodor. Each page helps you ask better questions before choosing. Browse the listed models, make a shortlist and check the exact configuration of the item you intend to buy.

Find a brand through the equipment you need

Start with the problem you are trying to solve. If your darts feel uncomfortable, barrel shape and grip placement deserve attention. If the board is difficult to see, lighting may make a more useful purchase than another set of darts. If components keep getting damaged in transit, look at a case that fits your assembled setup.

  • For a new set, compare weight, barrel dimensions, grip and point type.
  • For replacement parts, match the connection, size and system already in use.
  • For a home board area, consider mounting, lighting, wall protection and floor space together.
  • For a gift, identify the recipient’s existing equipment before choosing a personal item such as darts.

YOUR EQUIPMENT CHECKLIST

Explore the different brand collections

Formula Sports is a useful starting point for comparing brass and tungsten darts alongside home setup essentials. Explore Target for its listed darts and accessories, with particular attention to shaft systems, cases and board lighting. The Winmau collection connects dartboard choices with darts and equipment for the playing area.

One80 offers another route into barrel comparisons and board-area equipment. Browse Harrows when refreshing flights and other components, and Shot when exploring the different shapes and grip layouts within its named dart ranges. Designa provides options for comparing darts and flight designs, while the Nodor collection is a place to review the listed darts sets.

Compare the specification, then the appearance

Two darts with the same weight can feel quite different. A longer barrel gives your fingers a different contact area from a shorter, fuller shape. Grooves positioned near the nose may suit a different hold from grooves concentrated at the rear. Write down where you naturally grip before trying to interpret product photography.

Use the same comparison method across brands. Record the weight, maximum diameter, barrel length and material, then note what comes in the pack. A finish, player name or dramatic product photograph may catch your attention, but it should not replace a comfortable hold and a clear understanding of the specification.

Keep compatibility on your shortlist

A mixed-brand setup can be practical when the components are compatible. Check the barrel thread, shaft connection and flight system before combining parts. Do not assume that a specialist point or integrated flight system fits every dart because the packaging uses a familiar brand name.

For room equipment, take the same approach to physical measurements. Confirm board diameter, surround fit, bracket clearance and space around a cabinet door. These checks help you choose a setup as a whole instead of discovering that two individually suitable products do not work together.

Build a purchase around your next game

Keep a short equipment list with three columns: what works now, what needs replacing and what you want to test. Replace worn essentials first. For experiments, change one factor at a time and retain your original setup so you have a useful comparison. This makes browsing the full shop more purposeful and keeps your purchases connected to an actual need.

If you would like help narrowing the options, contact Perth Dart Centre with the model you use and the difference you hope to achieve. A photograph and a few measurements are more helpful than describing your current darts by colour alone.

Questions about darts brands

Should all my equipment be the same brand?

That is a personal preference rather than a requirement. Compatible parts and suitable dimensions matter more than matching every logo. Always check specialist systems separately.

Does a professional player's dart suit everyone?

No. Treat the player’s name as an introduction to a product, then compare its shape, weight and grip with your own needs. Your natural hold may be very different.

Where should a new player start?

Choose the equipment category first, establish a sensible budget and identify a small number of comparable products. A clear starting setup is more useful than collecting many different parts at once.
