Target Darts and Accessories

A Target setup can begin with a new set of darts, but smaller equipment choices also deserve attention. Shafts affect how your dart is assembled, a case determines how easily you carry it and board lighting changes the visibility of your playing area. Browse the Target collection at Perth Dart Centre by the part of your setup you want to improve.

Look through the listed models and compare their specifications before choosing. Product families such as Agora, Vapor8, Pro Grip and Takoma describe different kinds of equipment. They are useful search terms, but each individual model still needs a closer look.

Choose a barrel around your grip

When considering a Target dart, start with the position of your fingers. A grip area near the centre of a barrel may feel quite different from a pattern concentrated towards the nose or tail. Compare the photograph with the barrel length, diameter and weight rather than selecting from colour alone.

The listed Agora and Vapor8 families provide a starting point for exploring different designs. Use the precise model reference, such as the number within a range, when comparing specifications. Do not assume that two darts with related names have the same profile or that a newer generation reproduces the feel of your existing set.

YOUR EQUIPMENT CHECKLIST

Understand the shaft system you are replacing

Pro Grip, Pro Grip Vision and Pro Grip Spin appear among the listed Target shaft families. Before replacing a shaft, identify the full product name and the length you use. A similar colour or overall silhouette is not enough to confirm that you have selected the same component.

Check whether the flight fitting is fixed or designed to rotate, and read the relevant product instructions. If you are experimenting, keep the barrel and flights unchanged while comparing shaft lengths. Record what you have fitted to all three darts so that an accidental mismatch does not confuse the comparison. Browse dart shafts to review the options by component type.

Give your darts enough space in a case

Takoma and Takoma XL are useful names to investigate when you need organised storage. Choose a case around the equipment you carry rather than buying the largest one by default. A regular playing set and a few spares make a different packing list from several sets, tools and spare flights.

Check how many assembled darts the exact case accommodates, how flights are protected and whether the internal compartments suit your accessories. Lay your gear out before ordering. This turns the capacity description into a practical comparison and helps avoid a case that looks spacious but does not fit your preferred flight arrangement.

Plan lighting as part of the board area

The Corona Vision name appears in the board-lighting collection. When evaluating any lighting system, consider the board, surround and cabinet together. Check the attachment method, available clearance and where the power cable will run. A light should support your normal playing routine without making access to the board or surrounding equipment awkward.

Look at the board from the throwing position and from the side. Note existing shadows and reflections before choosing a solution. Visit dartboard lights to compare the listed equipment, then confirm compatibility with the exact board and mounting arrangement you have.

Keep upgrades easy to compare

Separate replacement purchases from experiments. If a shaft has broken, matching the existing model preserves a familiar setup. If you want to change the feel of the dart, test one new component at a time and keep a brief note of the result. This makes it easier to identify whether a difference comes from the equipment or from a change in your throw that day.

Before buying, check the product variant, quantity and included components. For advice on a Target item, contact Perth Dart Centre with the full product name. A photograph of the complete dart and its connection points can help explain what you are trying to match.

Target equipment questions

Will every Target accessory fit every Target dart?

No. Brand alone does not establish compatibility. Check the thread, fitting system and model instructions, especially when choosing specialist points or integrated components.

Should I change shafts and flights together?

You can, but changing one at a time gives you a clearer comparison. Begin with a complete matching set of components and retain the original configuration as a reference.

Is a larger case always the better choice?

Choose the capacity that fits your actual equipment. Internal layout and protection for assembled flights are more useful considerations than external size alone.
